Anyone who knows the MT7 knows that Magura are serious about performance. With this one they go one better! For more control, later braking points and less arm pump. Because anyone can build brakes that stop light bikes. But Magura's latest one slows down even the heaviest bikes with ease and is therefore predestined for your most powerful e-bikes and gravity machines.
#SIZEMATTERS
This brake makes every other brake look like a toy! By enlarging the pistons from 10 & 17 mm (master & caliper MT7) to 12 & 19 mm, Magura achieve unprecedented stability and sensitivity - even under the highest loads.
By enlarging the pistons , Magura have reduced the overall pressure level. This means that less pressure is lost by expanding the tube. The result is a defined pressure point with good modulation.

Extra thick brake pads with 40 % more volume and thick 2.5 mm brake rotors with a 2.1 mm wear limit keep you out of the workshop.
Easy Link
Brake hose rethought! The new MAGURA EASY LINK technology allows you a simple plug'n play connection between the hose and brake master. This means you can install or remove your hose as often and as quickly as you like. Even shortening the hose is now even quicker!
Easy Bleed
Magura's new bleeding valve and a circumferential oil channel without dead ends make bleeding the GUSTAV PRO child's play.
Prefilled spare parts
The brake calliper and brake master are supplied separately, completely filled and closed. If the inevitable happens and you need to replace a component, you can easily replace it without bleeding.

Thanks to Magura's long-standing partnership with Bosch and their own motorcycle ABS expertise, the GUSTAV PRO is optimized for use with the innovative Bosch eBike ABS like no other brake.
Crafting Magic
Thanks to Magura's innovative composite production, they can shape their brake masters into any conceivable form. Magura are particularly proud of the GUSTAV brake master, as it combines details such as a 12 mm piston, screwed lever pivot, 7 ml oil volume and, above all, invisible EASY LINK integration in the smallest of spaces. This would not be possible with any other material!
ASTHETIC DESIGN
Your bikes are too beautiful for ugly brakes! That's why the GUSTAV integrates perfectly into modern cockpits with a 0-degree hose outlet. And Magura have also dispensed with unnecessary kilos. Despite its features, it is the lightest brake of its kind.
